2010 Summer - Day 5 thru 7
Well we arrived in Santa Fe, NM. It rained again on the way and the coach and Jeep look like they are covered in a thin coat of mud. The campground sits on a hill just outside of Santa Fe. We discovered that there will not be a major fireworks display here on the Fourth of July because of potential fire hazards. The campground had a number of working antique pieces farm equipment that they start up on each Fourth of July. We saw some interesting machines. Later on that evening we decided to watch the DC and NY fireworks displays on TV.
The following morning we went into Santa Fe. It is a very "artsy" town with a unique blend of historic locations and galleries.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
